Radio Radio: A Novel by Ian Shane
Erik Randal is a popular night time on air personality at WLAM 101.7 FM. His career has stalled, and he's only his best friend, Shakespeare, is about to get married, he can't get over the girl who left him a year ago for her dream job, and his radio station has just been absorbed by a major corporate radio group. The only way Erik can get out of his rut is to become a program director. The trick is to find a station that will let him do it. Erik starts to rethink his priorities after he meets a beautiful songwriter named Myra . When Erik is given the chance to program a station back east, he must decide if he is going to stay in Lamasco, and work for a station that's turning into his worst nightmare, or leave Myra behind and go to New York.
