Biography
Ian Shane is the author, screenwriter, and on air personality. His hit comedy novel Radio Radio was released late in 2008. He currently resides in Minneapolis with his fiancee, and two dogs.

Ian was born in Evansville, IN. He was selected as one of seven students in the city to join the WPSR staff in 1990, where he met Kevin Bayer. They would co-created the Hawk and Ice show. Ian attended the University of Southern Indiana, were he became a fixture at AM 820 WSWI. He and Kevin earned the morning show. Ian was credited as the head writer for The Adventures of Kevin and Shane. The show ran for two years, and the duo produced a compilation album called Live on Tape. While still in college, Ian became an on air personality at WGBF and WIKY in Evansville . After graduation, Ian returned to WGBF to become the station's promotions director. He later moved to B-97 (WBWB) in Bloomington, Indiana . For two years, he was the late night voice of the Red-Eye Express.

Ian then moved on to 92.3 WTTS where he quickly became a recognizable voice. Ian was then moved to prime time and was the master of ceremonies of the WTTS Cage Match, as well as the Saturday Night House Party . He also worked for sister station WGCL as producer for the Afternoon Edition with Jeff
Dellinger
and Jerry Bales.

Ian moved to Minnesota in 2002 and has since launched the online station 3wE in 2003, and became program director of the Brown College streaming radio station VBC in 2005. In 2006, he recreated his program, under the new title The World Famous in Minnesota Show on the VBC. Writing has become
a passion with Ian. While at TTS, Ian started writing his first novel, Radio Radio , which he completed (after many revisions) six years later. Since then, he has written a feature length screenplay, four short screenplays
(Can't Fight It, The Greasy Spoon, RJ-941, Silicon Transitiion), and the pilot episode of Afternoon Edition, an hour long dramedy. Ian is currently working on his second novel.
